Who is Pop Campbell?

For those who have no clue who I am, my real name is Gary Campbell.

My grand-kids started calling me Pop about 25 years ago and through the years, my better half Bonnie and I have become Pop and Nan to friends, family and even business associates.

What Do I Do?

When people ask me what I do, I tell them that I’m retired, but I also do Internet Marketing. And that I’m an SEO specialist. SEO is short for search engine optimization. (getting a website ranked high in the search engines – where buyers can find it)

Also, I’ll bet your wondering how I got into the Internet Marketing business.

It actually all started back in the early 70’s when I worked as an environmental engineer. I was always involved in technology and as the computer industry started to develop I got involved in programming and applications that I used at work. I started out working with COBOL and FORTRAN, and later on with DOS. Things just evolved from there and when Windows came out, I thought I was in heaven.

I got out of engineering in ‘92 and went into real estate sales and management. This is when I actually started getting involved in the Internet Marketing business.

I started building websites to market my name and my real estate company. I built more websites to market individual property listings. I started selling in the commercial real estate market, so I built several commercial real estate websites.

And you know what, they all worked. Some sites worked better than others, but they all worked. My business really started to grow. I started getting leads from my sites and my client list started to shoot up.

This Internet Marketing stuff really works!

So I decided in about 2000 that I would start doing some affiliate marketing (that’s where you sell other people’s products and they pay you a commission) so I started building websites to sell other things besides real estate, and I never stopped.

Bonnie and I retired in ’07 and now we travel and enjoy life. I have a laptop computer and I can make money from anywhere we are.

These are the Great Years!

If you’re on page 1 you’re OK
